If you live in Saint-Martin or Saint-Barthélemy and are considering hosting an au pair, we would be delighted to meet you! We offer candidates with one to two years of experience as an au pair in the United States, as well as Canadian and American au pairs with experience in childcare.

For families located in mainland France, Guadeloupe or Martinique, do not hesitate to contact us to discover the possibilities of hosting an au pair in your region.

The au pair program is above all an opportunity for cultural exchange. The way you interact with your au pair will play a crucial role in their learning and perception of French culture.

By becoming a host family, you will have the unique opportunity to explore the richness of a different culture while sharing the unique aspects of French culture and language.

How it works?

Once you apply, we will start sending you au pair profiles. You interview candidates until you find the ideal au pair. We also come to your home to carry out an inspection to ensure your au pair has a private room.

Prerequisites

You must pass a background check.

You must be able to provide a furnished private room for your au pair.

Your au pair must be of a nationality different from yours or that of your spouse.

Your schedule should allow your au pair to take French classes regularly.

Costs

The application fee is €150.

Investment fees depend on the duration of the investment.

For less than six months, the costs amount to €600.
For a period of 7 to 12 months, the costs amount to €1,000.

Your au pair's flights are your responsibility.

During the placement, you must pay a minimum of €120 per week to your au pair.

You will also have to cover their accommodation and food, URSSAF contributions (around €50 per week) and your au pair's repatriation insurance (around €10 per week).
